For our sixth month anniversary we took a trip down to the Florida Keys. I have never seen prettier water!! The best part of this trip, being as we are newly married and on a budget… we decided to camp outside in the nature preserves. It was breathtakingly beautiful to wake up right next to the ocean.

A few funny memories of this trip:

The first night we got there our air mattress popped. We both looked at each other and busted out laughing. I mean what else do you do. So naturally I pull out my toolbox (I was still working for TTI at the time) and try to tape it up. It definitely didn’t work, but we made some good memories trying.

We were literally surrounded on all sides by raccoons… not so funny. But Chase would throw wood at them to try and scare them.

While Chase was feeding Tarpons, a hungry pelican almost bit me!! Haha it was harmless but just wanted the fish to eat out of our bucket.

We truly saw one of the most breathtaking sunsets I have ever seen to this day on our last night. It was incredible.
